Description
This beautiful branching wildflower has bright-golden or yellow flowers that can be used for dyeing fabric like wool or silk and add color to the garden!
The medicinal plant is traditionally harvested in June and is often made into tinctures to treat depression. It is also used to make hypericum oil. (Caution: medicinal use can increase sensitivity to the sun!). The plants spread via root and seeds, and are popular with bees and insects.
