Kiepenkerl Badish Corn (Mega Pack)

The country corn from the Rhine Valley

Out of StockOur shop no longer sells this product.

Description

This open-pollinated corn comes from the Rhine Valley in Baden. The variety is particularly well suited for organic farming and is used as forage, fodder and feed for wild birds and poultry. It is tolerant to the Fusarium wilt, and corn smut. The vigorous plants are also characterized by rapid and robust growth with excellent resistance to cold and wet. The corn ripens late in the season, which has advantages in organic cultivation and when it is used as a wild food plant. The very long cobs form 8-10 kernel rows with very large kernels. The Badische corn thrives in all moderate to good climates in Northwest Europe.
