Kiepenkerl "Felix" Catnip

Catnip is a lush flowering and easy to maintain long-term bloomer for flower beds, kitchen gardens, rock gardens, and natural gardens. It is also a good companion to big summer perennials. It is robust in growth, easy to maintain, branches with many flowers and thrives in sunny or shady spots or in planters on terraces and balconies. The 40 cm high, pleasantly minty fragrant plants have delicate blue flowers and silvery foliage. They look very nice between taller shrubs or as a classical partner to roses and rural gardens. The many delicate flowers delight in June-July and if pruned, bloom again in fall. They are heavily visited by nectar-seeking insects and butterflies and are irresistible for cats that like to nibble on the leaves. The robust plants make for good groundcover. Height approx 40 cm.
