Sperli's Sleepyhead is a perennial herb! The fresh young herb can be used fresh in salads or dried and used as a seasoning. Valerian extracts can be used as flavourings in pastries and ice cream. The herb is traditionally used in naturopathy for relaxing teas and sleep remedies. Valerian's beautiful flowers also provide a fragrant, ornamental plant for your garden.
