SUBSTRAL® Naturen® Boxwood Moth Pheromone Trap Refill

If pests appear to be targetting your boxwood, check for caterpillars. This trap is an infestation control measure. Though caterpillar infestations cannot be prevented, they can be reduced.

Tip:
A female moth lives about 9-12 days and lays about 20 eggs. The caterpillars hatch after 3 days. These pass through 7 stages of development and continue to grow in size. The growth phase is highly dependent on temperature and weather and can last between 3 and 10 weeks. Then a new generation of moths hatches. To kill the caterpillars and prevent the infestation from spreading further, spraying with an insecticide is recommended.

Usage:
May to August.

The pheromone trap lasts for 6 months and is refillable. Its range is up to 180m².
